"ENCORE II" is a beautiful 42'

Canoe Cove Sport Sedan. She has been boathouse-kept and meticulously maintained for decades and can be viewed in freshwater in Ladner, BC. Canoe Coves were made in Sidney, BC, and gained a reputation on the West Coast as being very seaworthy and well-built boats. The craftsmanship and quality of care are evident throughout this vessel.

This sedan model has a level entrance through the port transom door into a spacious cockpit. From the cockpit, you go through a full-sized double sliding door into a spacious salon area with a full-size couch, reclining chairs, and a table. Her large salon features solid teak joinery and custom woodwork, adding to the vessel's elegance. The generous salon is surrounded by huge glass windows and doors, which provide 360-degree light and views.

Immediately past the salon is a well-appointed starboard galley with Corian countertops on the same level as the salon, a full double sink, a three-element glass cooktop, a microwave oven, and a 9 cu. ft. Nova Kool upright fridge with a freezer on the bottom. The vessel is conveniently fitted with AC and Hydronic Heat (Hurricane Heater - 3 zones with instant domestic hot water) and electric baseboards and a 17-gallon electrical hot water tank to ensure warmth and comfortable cruising.

The upper and lower helms provide great running for the skipper. The last haul out was Spring 2024, with all new zincs and bottom paint. In 2020, the bottom of "Encore II" was blasted down to the gel coat and then epoxy sealed with multiple coats of Interprotect 2000 before finishing with Micron CSC bottom paint.

The 42' Sports Sedan vessels remain popular and practical today cruising comfortably to Alaska or plying up and down the west coast. "Encore II" will provide comfort, power, and adventures for years to come. A current 2024 survey is available.
